Ingredients
- Rice 2 cups
- Water 6 cups
- Cinnamon Essential Oil 3-4 drops
- Sugar 1/3 cup
- Brown Sugar 1/3 cup
- Vanilla1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Put uncooked rice and water in blender. Soak the rice overnight. Add 3 drops cinnamon oil to the blender and puree until smooth.
- Strain into a pitcher through several layers of cheesecloth to remove any grit or large particles from the liquid.
- Stir in the sugar and vanilla.
- Adjust sugar and cinnamon oil to taste. If you want it to taste richer, add more brown sugar.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
You can add more cinnamon oil to make it stronger, if you like, but try to make sure to add only 1 drop at a time since every drop is very concentrated.
